Crocheted baby cardigan

So I thought I would share my most recent finished project. Though to be honest I have a few on the go at the moment.

I’ve just finished one of 2 star stitch baby cardigans adapted from a woollywonderscrochet pattern on YouTube.

Front of cardigan

I used a 4.5mm hook with double knit baby acrylic yarn by yarnfair to make 0-3 months size. The buttons I used I bought a while ago while on my travels and can’t actually remember where, haha.

The pattern by woolywonderscrochet on YouTube was so simple to follow. This is one of many of this cardigan I’ve made as the pattern really was a pleasure.

Back of cardigan

I chose to add a shell collar and shell trim edging as I liked that look.

I’m nearly ready to complete the second one which is mostly done and has a red star stitch yoke instead of pink. I’m making the red one with a 5mm hook so that it will be 0-6 months size.

My one tip when making this cardigan would be make sure you count the stitches at the points on the video where stated. It helps it to go right.

Thanks for reading
